How do I import a bank statement?

Log into your bank's website, download a CSV, XLSX, or PDF statement, then open Sorted Money and go to the Import tab. Select your file — Sorted Money will detect your bank automatically and categorise your transactions.

Which banks are supported?

Sorted Money currently supports CommBank, Westpac, Macquarie Bank, and Virgin Money. You can also import CSV files from any bank — the app will parse standard column formats.

Is my data private?

Yes. All data is stored on your device. Sorted Money does not connect to your bank, does not collect analytics, and does not send your data anywhere. If you enable iCloud Sync (Sorted Money Pro), data is stored in your private iCloud account — we cannot access it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, and select Sorted Money to manage or cancel. On Mac, open the App Store, click your account, then Subscriptions.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings in Sorted Money and tap "Export Backup (JSON)". This creates a complete backup of all your transactions, categories, and rules.

How do I restore my data on a new device?

If you have Sorted Money Pro with iCloud Sync enabled, your data appears automatically on any device signed into the same Apple ID. Otherwise, export a JSON backup from your old device and import it on the new one via Settings.
