Sorted Money stores all your financial data on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.
All transaction data, categories, rules, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
If you subscribe to Sorted Money Pro, your data can be synced via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) private database. This data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account — we cannot access it.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is stored in Apple's CloudKit private database:
You can export your data as a JSON file at any time from Settings. This file is saved to your device — we do not receive a copy.
Sorted Money does not connect to any third-party services. The app operates entirely offline except for:

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page and in the app's Settings screen.

By downloading or using Sorted Money, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Sorted Money is a personal finance tracking app that imports bank statement files (CSV, XLSX, PDF) and categorises transactions. It does not connect to bank APIs, provide financial advice, or execute financial transactions.
Sorted Money Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
Sorted Money auto-categorises transactions using pattern matching. Categories may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your transaction data. Sorted Money is not a substitute for professional financial advice.
You retain full ownership of all data you import into Sorted Money. We do not claim any rights to your financial data.
Sorted Money is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on information displayed in the app, or for any data loss resulting from use of the app.
You may stop using Sorted Money at any time. If you cancel your Sorted Money Pro subscription, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your billing period, after which the app reverts to the free tier.
Use of Sorted Money is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
